Our Goals

Our Goal first and foremost is to create a fun friendly environment where people can get together and play chess.

Goals in the form of a list:
1. Get a solid base of students that are serious in participating in the club (done!)
2. Get funding to buy boards (done!)
3. Find a time and place to have weekly hour long club meetings (done!)
4. Write chess clock software that is open source and uses the keyboard as the input device (done!)
5. Run tournaments with registration fees and awesome prizes
6. Become a recognized chess club, accepted both nationally and internationally
7. Compete in multi school tournaments

Hi. I love chess, and would like to join. Is this a field where palestinians and israelis can meet and be friends? At least I hope so. I really want us to leave peacefully side by side, and I definetly want to play chess!
