There is a correction to the flier passed around. On the flier, it says checkmate in 2 moves. That is a typo, it is actually white to move, checkmate in 3 moves. Sorry for the mix up.
First Meeting of Fall 2008
Tuesday, September 9th will be the first meeting of the JCT Chess Club. The meeting starts at 9 PM on the 4th floor of the Lau Building. There will be drinks, and snacks available for all. Come play a game, watch a game. I will be giving a 15 min lecture on traps in the chess opening, teaching "The Fried Liver Attack", a must for every chess player to know.
